Green Job Training Funds

The Department of Labor’s Employment and Training Administration (ETA) has announced its initial plans for awarding “green job training” funds under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. ETA draws your particular attention to the “Pathways out of Poverty” grants mentioned in TEN 44-08. Two separate applicant pools can compete for grants under this solicitation:
(1) Eligible national community-based and faith-based organizations with local networks; and
(2) Local partnerships that include community-based organizations, education and training institutions, business and labor organizations.
